This workshop is only open to individuals who already have basic knowledge and are looking to advance their skills in this craft.

Immerse yourself in a beautiful world of fragrance with Lamia!

This passionate creator will be delighted to welcome you to an advanced workshop on natural perfumery, spanning two days with two 6-hour sessions each.

After introductions, the first day will commence with a blindfolded olfaction session and memorisation of the fragrances from the scent organ prepared for the workshop. Lamia will explain various methods of extracting essences in perfumery (essential oils, absolutes, CO2 extraction, etc.) along with their key molecules. You’ll then take the time to familiarise yourself with a carefully curated range of essences.

And now it’s your turn to step in! The practical phase begins with crafting simple scent blends, progressing to more intricate compositions. Lamia will be there to guide you, teaching you how to structure these blends to create a perfectly harmonious olfactory form.

The second day will focus on the architecture or structure of a perfume formula. With Lamia by your side, you’ll learn to intricately differentiate between different fragrance families. She will guide you in crafting bases and then creating blends based on diverse themes: floral, leathery, woody, animalic, musky, and more – catering to a variety of preferences.

Lastly, you’ll get to create two completely personalised compositions, using all the ingredients provided by Lamia.

In the end, you’ll leave with two unique essences, forever carrying the olfactory imprint of this wonderful experience!

NB: We advise you not to wear perfume before the workshop.

For lunch, you can bring your own (microwave and fridge available), or eat outside in the neighbourhood.

The workshop price includes all the days outlined in the description. When booking through the Wecandoo website, you only need to schedule the date of the first session. Any subsequent sessions should be arranged directly with the artisan. If the sessions are consecutive days, the rest of the workshop will automatically take place on the day following the first reserved day.
